Ensuring a SUCCESSFUL FINISH
“Do I have what it takes?”
Section Overview
"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith."
Hebrews 12:1
The Christian life is not a sprint — it is a marathon. Many men start well but finish poorly. The question is not whether you will face hardship, failure, or temptation — you will. The question is whether you will finish well. This section equips men with the spiritual disciplines, the community, and the mindset to endure to the end.
Endurance is not gritting your teeth and pushing through — it is keeping your eyes on Christ and running the race He has set before you, surrounded by a cloud of witnesses.
Three Sessions in This Section
GET UP
Rising after failure. Every man falls. The mark of a godly man is not that he never fails — it is that he gets back up, repents, and keeps running.
TRAIN UP
Developing spiritual disciplines. Endurance requires training. Men who finish well are men who have built the habits — prayer, Scripture, worship, fasting — that sustain them.
TEAM UP
Running with others. No man finishes well alone. God designed men to run in community — with brothers who encourage, challenge, and refuse to let them quit.
