Establishing a SPIRITUAL FRAMEWORK
“Does it really matter what I believe?”
Section Overview
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Romans 12:2
What a man believes shapes everything about how he lives. There is a God Above us, an Enemy Against us, and an Eternity Ahead of us. A man without a biblical framework for reality will be tossed by every wind of culture and opinion. This section establishes the non-negotiable truths that anchor a man's life.
A man's beliefs are the foundation of his actions. Getting the framework right — rooted in Scripture — is the most important work a man can do.
Three Sessions in This Section
LOOK UP
Acknowledging the God who is there. A biblical worldview begins with the reality of a sovereign, personal God who created all things and holds all things together.
HEAD'S UP
Recognizing the enemy who opposes. Men must be sober-minded and alert — the adversary prowls like a roaring lion, and ignorance is not a defense.
GIVE UP
Surrendering to the eternity ahead. When a man grasps that this life is not the end, it changes how he lives today — with eternal perspective and sacrificial generosity.
