Laying a SOLID FOUNDATION
“Who am I?”
Section Overview
"Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."
Matthew 7:24–25
Identity is the most contested battleground in a man's life. Culture offers a thousand competing answers to the question 'Who am I?' — but only one answer is true. A man built on the solid foundation of his identity in Christ cannot be shaken. This section calls men to know who they are in God's eyes and to build their lives on that unshakeable truth.
A man who knows who he is in Christ does not need the world's approval. His identity is settled, his foundation is secure, and his life can be built with confidence.
Three Sessions in This Section
WISE UP
Pursuing God's wisdom over the world's. True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord — and a man who builds on wisdom builds something that lasts.
GROW UP
Embracing spiritual maturity. God calls men to move beyond spiritual infancy — to grow up into the full measure of the stature of Christ.
LISTEN UP
Hearing and obeying God's Word. Identity is not found by looking inward but by listening to what God says. His Word defines who we are.
