Building a STRONG FAMILY
“Where do I belong?”
Section Overview
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her."
Ephesians 5:25
Every man longs to belong — to be known, accepted, and loved. God designed that longing to be met first in the family. A man who understands his role in the family — as husband, father, son, and brother — and who fulfills that role with love and sacrifice, builds something of eternal value. This section calls men to show up fully for the people God has placed in their lives.
The family is not a distraction from a man's calling — it is the primary arena where his calling is lived out. A man who leads his family well leads well.
Three Sessions in This Section
BREAK UP
Breaking destructive patterns. Every family carries wounds from the past. Men must have the courage to identify and break cycles of dysfunction, neglect, and sin.
SHOW UP
Being fully present. Presence is not just physical — it is emotional, spiritual, and relational. A man who shows up fully changes the atmosphere of his home.
JOIN UP
Connecting with community. No man leads his family alone. God designed men to be in community — with other men who sharpen, encourage, and hold them accountable.
